Amoxil 125mg Suspension is a broad-spectrum antibiotic aimed at treating bacterial infections. It is appropriate for children and has a nice flavour to make it easier to take. The suspension provides effective and reliable relief from infections caused by susceptible bacteria, ensuring rapid recovery. Active Substances: Amoxicillin 125mg per 5ml.

Suggested Use
Amoxil 125mg Suspension is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including:
- Respiratory tract infections
- Ear infections (otitis media)
- Urinary tract infections
- Sinusitis
- Tonsillitis
- Skin and soft tissue infections
Dosage:
The recommended dosage of Amoxil for children is based on their weight and the severity of the infection. Typically:
- Children aged 2 to 12 years: 20 to 40 mg/kg/day divided into two or three doses.
- For mild to moderate infections: 125 mg/5 mL suspension taken every 8 hours or 250 mg/5 mL suspension every 12 hours.
- Duration of treatment: Usually ranges from 5 to 14 days depending on the type and severity of the infection.
Warning
- Do not use if you or your child has a known allergy to Amoxicillin or other penicillin antibiotics.
- Common side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, or diarrhoea. Rarely, allergic reactions, skin rashes, or more severe effects such as liver dysfunction may occur.
- Use only as directed by a healthcare provider. Do not use for viral infections (e.g., common cold, flu).
- Continue to take the full prescribed amount even if symptoms improve, to prevent the development of drug-resistant bacteria.
