Aireez 5mg Tablets are primarily used to manage and prevent symptoms associated with asthma, exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and allergic rhinitis. It helps in reducing inflammation and narrowing of the airways, thus improving breathing. Active Substances: Montelukast Sodium 5mg.

Suggested Use
Aireez 5mg Tablets are used to:
- Treat and prevent asthma symptoms
- Manage exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (narrowing of airways)
- Relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, stuffy/runny/itchy nose)
- Treat hives (urticaria) lasting more than 6 weeks
Dosage:
- Adults and children above 6 months: Take one tablet daily, with or without food. Chewable tablets should be taken 1-2 hours before food.
Warning
- Pregnancy: Effects are undetermined; consult your doctor before use.
- Lactation: Effects are undetermined; consult your doctor before use.
- Avoid driving as it may affect your ability to drive.
- Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.
- Do not substitute abruptly for inhaled or oral steroid therapy. Discontinue if symptoms of Churg-Strauss Syndrome appear.
- Chewable tablets may contain aspartame. Consult your doctor if you have Phenylketonuria or any condition requiring you to limit/avoid aspartame.
- Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach ache, headache, and flu-like symptoms. Rare side effects may include anaphylaxis, angioedema, seizure, elevated liver enzymes, and hyperkinesia.
