Advagraf is indicated for:

  1. Prophylaxis of transplant rejection in adult patients who have received kidney or liver transplants.
  2. Treatment of allograft rejection that is resistant to other immunosuppressive therapies in adult patients
Dosage:
  • Recommended Dosage: The dosage is individualized based on the patient’s clinical condition and response to treatment. It is typically administered once daily.

Administration: The capsules should be taken orally, preferably at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels of the medication in the body. Monitoring by qualified healthcare professionals is essential during treatment.

Warning

  •  As an immunosuppressant, Advagraf increases the risk of infections and malignancies due to immune system suppression.
  • Regular monitoring of kidney function and drug levels is necessary to avoid toxicity and ensure effective dosing.
  • Not recommended for patients with known hypersensitivity to tacrolimus or any component of the formulation.
