Warning
Do not use Aciclovir if you are allergic to it or valacyclovir. Inform your doctor if you have had kidney disease or a weak immune system. If pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor first. Herpes can be transmitted to your baby during childbirth if you have a genital lesion. It may not be safe to breastfeed while on this medication. Aciclovir is not for children under 2 years old. It can cause a severe allergic reaction. Stay hydrated when taking high doses.
