Indications/Uses: An atypical antiphychotic used in schizophrenia and short-term treatment of mania associated with bipolar disorders. 5-10 mg od with or without food.
Interactions: Systemic clearance increased by tobacco. smoking.
Side Effects: Somnolence. dizziness. weight gain. oedema. ordhostatin hypotension. constipation. dry mouth. blurred vision. low incidence of extrapyramidal effects.
